We provide customized computer courses to meet the demanding needs of your organization.

ADVANCED WEB PAGE DEVELOPMENT provides advanced web page software applications using FrontPage®, and/or Dreamweaver®, Macromedia Flash®, and advanced audio applications.  An overview of hypermedia publishing, using HTML, XML, XHTML, Java Script, will provide the participants with critical skills essential in developing award winning web sites.  Participants will create truly polished and professional looking web sites with user-friendly navigation features.   Additionally, participants will select different Web publishing alternatives, including using a service provider or setting up a Web server and publishing Web documents from their own PC.  Participants will understand the differences between 56k, DSL, ISDN, Cable, Ts, and a host of other connection options and the impact each has on their Web site functionality.

A+ CERTIFICATION: BASIC is part one of a two part series, preparing participants to master the Core Hardware and Operating System Technologies exams that A+ Certification requires. At the conclusion of this series, participants will learn the skills to build, configure, administrate and troubleshoot Personal Computer (PC) software and hardware and be fully prepared to take CompTIA’s  A+ Certification exams. This course is the beginning road to identifying proper procedures for computer installation and configuring and starting a new business and/or career choice in the Computer Industry.

A+ CERTIFICATION: INTERMEDIATE provides the necessary skills to complete both the A+ Core Hardware exam and the A+ OS Technologies exam. The intent of this training is to certify individuals in a body of knowledge that is identified and accepted as the baseline or foundation of any entry-level PC technician. The participant will demonstrate knowledge of installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop computer systems at the standard defined by these exams.

ASSEMBLE YOUR OWN COMPUTER begins with an introduction to computer software and hardware. Emphasis is placed in the hardware components of computers, utility programs for installation, diagnosis, and disk analysis. Each participant will have the skills required to completely assemble an IBM compatible Intel Pentium 200 MHZ/MMX based PC.

DIGITAL ENGINEERING CD-R/CD-RW BASICS develops basic skills and knowledge useful in creating both CD-R (compact disc recordable) and CD-RW (compact disc rewritable).  Either format will allow the attendee to archive files, back up data, save PowerPoint® presentations, back up their hard drive to CD and create an audio CD.  Attendees will learn the differences between formats, how to install a CD-R or RW, optimize their computer system for burning, turn old computers into dedicated CD burners and MP3 basics.

DIGITAL ENGINEERING / VIDEO EDITING incorporates enhancement of your computer and digital camcorder skills, by using advanced computer related hardware and software technologies. Participants will learn how to transfer video from analog and/or digital format to the computer to edit and transfer back directly to camcorder, television, or tape.  Participants will produce professionally edited videos utilizing today’s technology.

DIGITAL HOME RECORDING STUDIO will demonstrate how to harness the computer’s internal power and unleash its potential to create great tracks. From audio plug-ins and sequencing software to virtual synthesizers and MIDI interfaces. Including selecting and connecting project studio equipment to distributing music online and burning (making) CDs, this course helps beginning and experienced musicians create music with computers. Establishing a studio or enhancing one, participants get cost-effective technological guidance and musical inspiration.

MICROSOFT® OUTLOOK® provides training that will create a virtual personal administrative assistant, right in your computer.  Get help organizing, retrieving, and viewing all your information, files, and appointments in one place - using a consistent interface.  Get support for Internet standards-based messaging systems, including Exchange Server, with integrated calendar, contact, and task management features. Communicate with others through e-mail, telephone and group scheduling. Outlook helps users share information with others via Internet connectivity, Exchange Server public folders, electronic forms, and as a component of customized collaborative solutions. Outlook also integrates and organizes all this communication and shared information in one application.

MICROSOFT® POWERPOINT® allows the user to learn how to illustrate their concepts creatively using, PowerPoint’s easy to use formatting tools.  Create a computer-generated slide show or multimedia presentation that will impress your audience.  Deliver professional presentations in any setting.  This training will allow the participant to easily organize, powerfully illustrate, and professionally deliver their ideas. Whether conducting an informal meeting, presenting to an audience, or delivering their message over the Internet, they will have the resources necessary to communicate with impact.
