How to be considered for a consulting position:
To apply for a contract position, please send the following:
1. A resume that includes education, work history, professional and     speaking background clearly delineated.
2. A non-returnable VHS or DVD video showing your presentation style.
    · The tape should be approximately 15 minutes long and the topic can be        of your choice.
    · We will be looking for the following when reviewing the tape: energy        level, ability to overview/summarize/transition, interaction with an        audience.
3. A list of American Resource Training System courses that you are          qualified to present.

Characteristics of a successful consultant:
Bachelor's degree
    · 2 - 3 years of relevant business experience
    · 1 - 2 years of public speaking success
    · Trainer must be incorporated
    · A valid drivers license
    · An active credit card
    · Access to e-mail
    · Honed presentation skills
    · Ability to connect with people and facilitate activities
    · Resourceful
    · Integrity
    · High-energy
    · Flexible
    · Articulate and persuasive
    · Travel-savvy
    · Expert in a subject area
    · Excellent problem solver

Compensation:
Consultants receive a minimum rate of $30 per hour. Ticketing, reservations, travel schedule, agendas and itineraries are handled by American Resource Training System. All travel and hotel costs are direct-billed back to the home office.
